ON FACTS FROM THE QUR'AN
|
DEVOTED TO ALLAH
A Muslim's life is concisely described
as follows in the Qur'an: "Truly, my prayer and my
service of sacrifice, my life and my death, are (all)
for Allah, the Cherisher of the Worlds." (Surat al-Anaam:162)
Muslims live for the cause of Allah and strive to
earn the good pleasure of Allah, arranging their lives
according to His Will. A believer who decides to live
for the cause of Allah must abandon all the idols
of the society of ignorance Devoted to Allah is a
summons to overthrow these idols for good.

THE FEAR OF
ALLAH
The great majority of people on earth have faith in
Allah, yet only a minority fear Allah as they should.
Furthermore, some even think that one should feel
no fear for Allah. Yet the main feature making a person
a real believer is his sincere and respectful fear
for Allah. That is because there is a grievous penalty
awaiting those who do not fear Allah.

EMIGRATING FOR THE CAUSE OF ALLAH
One who emigrates for the cause
of Allah, that is, who leaves his home because of
the opposition he faces as he treads upon in Allah's
path, is a person who has devoted his life to that
cause. This is why it is one of the most important
ways of worship that causes one's faith to be firmly
established. It would be wrong to think that emigrating
for the cause of Allah was a way of worship peculiar
to the times of the prophets. Every Muslim that follows
the way of the Prophets may confront a situation where
he has to move away from his home. The important thing
is experiencing the feeling of emigration and one's
abandoning his established order and pulling himself
out of the unbelieving society by taking all risks
and possible distresses, only for the good pleasure
of Allah, and relying solely upon Him. This book is
written for the purpose of describing this feeling
of emigration.

QUR'AN

the real concept of conscience that is related in the
Qur'an and draws our attention to the kind of understanding,
thought, and wisdom that a truly conscientious person
has. This book will make you recognise the voice of
your conscience and accordingly help you to differentiate

THE
REAL HOME OF BELIEVERS: PARADISE
Most people conceive of Paradise
as a surreal and abstract notion. The most important
reason for this misconception is an insufficient knowledge
of the Qur'an and a lack of understanding. This book
provides a realistic description of Paradise as related
in the Qur'an and summons man to think about this eternal
abode. |
BEING HOPEFUL IN THE QUR'AN
My sons! Seek news of Yusuf and
his brother. Do not despair of solace from Allah. No
one despairs of solace from Allah except for people
who are disbelievers.' (Surah Yusuf: 87)
Man places his hope in Allah in
relation to the degree of his faith. He hopes to attain
the favours promised to him to the extent of his trust,
closeness, submission and sincerity to Allah. A person
who hopes for the mercy of Allah does not transgress
or talk evil. He never suppresses the voice of his
conscience. On the contrary, he summons people to
the way of righteousness, forbids evil and performs
his religious duties with wholesome zeal. These are
actually the people who earn the approval of Allah.

THE ARROGANCE
OF SATAN
Driven by pride and arrogance, man
forgets that he is solely a servant of Allah. The first
representative of arrogance is Satan, who rebelled against
Allah. Throughout history, people who out of their pride
worshipped themselves, have been mimicking the arrogance
of Satan. |

DISREGARDED
JUDGEMENTS OF THE QUR'AN

any other, people of ignorance disregard some of them
while paying attention to others. This book was written
for the purpose of warning believers against such
a possibility and reminding them of the judgements
of the Qur'an that are likely to be disregarded.

SOME SECRETS OF THE QUR'AN
Certainly there is a Message in
this (Qur'an) for people who worship Allah. (Surat al-Anbiya':

In the Qur'an, Allah tells people many
secrets besides acts of worship, what is permitted
and forbidden, and codes of good morals. These secrets
are found nowhere but in the Qur'an. The only source
of these secrets, which are beyond the reach of even
the most educated, intelligent, investigative or observant
person in the world, is the Qur'an.
People who are unaware of these secrets Allah advised
in the Qur'an experience the trouble and distress
caused by this throughout their lives. For those who
learn these secrets of the Qur'an, however, the life
of this world is very easy, and full of joy and excitement.

verses Allah related to people as a secret.

to Islam, many questions may cross his mind since
he has just quit the society of ignorance and has
not yet learned the faculty to think according to

ENEMY OF MAN: SATAN
Whoever you are, you have an extremely

SLANDERS
SPREAD ABOUT MUSLIMS THROUGHOUT HISTORY
This book deals with a form of slander that has been
inherited in our day from the past through certain circles.
In the Qur'an, it is described that in the past, the
messengers of Allah and certain other righteous people
were all subjected to various instances of slander claiming
